Our 1st year to have America Recycles Day Event at the beach was a huge success. We collected over 100 pairs of shoes for Souls4soles, 2 trucks loaded with shredded documents, a truck load of recycled cardboard & computer equipment, lots of cell phones that will earn $ for American Cancer Society, boxes full of school supplies for Teachers Supply Depot and prescription eyeglasses donated to our local Lions club.
With over 20 volunteers from local schools, businesses: UNF Rotaract club, Fletcher High School Interact Club & students, Bank of America team, Keep Jacksonville Beautiful Team, and of course the New Age Hippy crew.
Our 1st annual Beaches Recycles Day goes into the history books!
